A 1940 fighter aircraft manual turned into a 3D Blender model
Claude transcribed a scanned 168-page Dewoitine D.520 manual and built a parametric Blender model that checks itself against the manual.

The full story
The poster found a scan of the Dewoitine D.520 manual in a French regional archive: 168 typed pages plus plates. Claude (Opus 5.5 in Claude Code) transcribed all of it, then wrote a parametric Python script for Blender, run over SSH on the poster's Mac, with every dimension required to come from a source or be labelled a guess.
A second script measures the finished model against the manual and flags gaps, and renders were compared with a 3-view drawing and museum photos of the surviving aircraft.
