The full story
AI Weekly has around 500 issues and just over 50,000 subscribers, and lived for years on a hosted platform, Curated, that was dying and wouldn't allow new features. In March the maker, who once ran a Drupal agency, moved it to Drupal 10 with SQLite and Amazon SES, writing almost none of the code by hand.
On the first day Claude pushed testing onto production and overwrote the database. The maker realised it wouldn't work without proper processes, which the model hadn't suggested itself; deploys now go through a script with backups and live-site checks. The site has run for five months with real subscribers, and AI-built curation pipelines now run in code that works with or without the model.
