The full story
A biped robot built from an Acebott STEM kit is handed to Claude, which can only see it through a webcam. Claude looks at a photo, sends a text command such as forward or turn_left, and checks the result. The mission is to push a box off a table without falling off.
Claude gets confused about which way the robot is facing, and the fix turns out to be simple. The improved robot program, a REST API for agents and instructions for Claude Code are all on GitHub.
