The full story
The maker learns best by writing things out on paper, so they built a journaling and note-taking app on their Daylight DC-1 tablet. They start a note, explore a topic in handwriting, and Claude writes back on the page.
It also handles PDFs and ebooks: mark something on the page and Claude creates a note about it to discuss, and it can quiz the maker on request. It is built around the DC-1 but runs on any Android tablet with a stylus. The maker calls it penombra and is still finishing it before letting others try it.
