The full story
This is a Mario Galaxy-inspired 3D web platformer, made to celebrate the Super Mario Galaxy Movie. You run around small planets and play on letters from the Mario Bros. logo, and it was built with Claude Code and Three.js in 53 days. The developer shared the architecture on Hacker News, including a custom cache-friendly entity-component system with no allocations in hot loops and a data-oriented process manager.
