The full story
A Hacker News commenter built a portable Meshtastic (off-grid mesh radio) terminal on a Raspberry Pi Pico 2, with Claude writing all of the MicroPython code, including the driver for its e-ink screen. To develop the driver, they built a jig holding a webcam over the screen and had Claude write a tool that photographs and crops the display. After a 20-minute loop of taking photos and adjusting the driver, it worked.
