Samsung's app for managing the 300 photos on their 75-inch Frame TV had no grouping and crashed on most uploads, and their wife gave up on it. They built a Home Assistant add-on and integration with Claude, saying it is "100% Claude".
Frame Art Manager is a web interface for uploading and tagging images, backed by Git LFS. Frame Art Shuffler talks to the TV, shuffling by tag, adjusting brightness from a light sensor, turning the screen off with motion and avoiding repeats. Their wife now uploads photos from her phone, even on trips.
