The full story
remote-me is a web remote for Apple TV and LG TVs that you can use from a computer or phone. For Apple TV, the protocol was found by analysing the remote built into iOS with REA, Ghidra and an AI agent, then checked on the device. It's the author's first applied reverse-engineering project for home automation and is still in progress.
