The full story
Tellyscope cleans up an Android TV, turns off ads, trackers and bloat, sideloads apps and shows which apps use data. The poster says they did not write the code: a set of Claude Code agents running on a home server wrote it and reviewed pull requests, with the poster merging.
The agents connected to real TVs over adb and read logcat themselves, which caught problems that tests missed. The poster reports 5,000 downloads in its first week.
