The full story
The poster, an amateur guitarist, wanted something like the Axe-Fx III but could not afford one, so they "vibe cloned" it using Claude Opus. It follows the same core idea: a Newton-Raphson electrical circuit solver, with amps and effects modelled from their actual schematics.
They say it works surprisingly well. It is free and open source under GPL-3.0, with the code on GitHub.
