BinktermPHP is an open source web-based BBS written in PHP 8 with PostgreSQL. It includes a FidoNet mailer using the binkp protocol, echomail and netmail, file areas, door games, telnet, SSH and FTP access, QWK offline mail and ANSI support.
The maker acts as architect and tester while Claude writes the code, database migrations and protocol work. That includes implementing binkp from scratch (session negotiation, packet parsing, queuing and polling) and a SharedWorker event bus that shares server events across open tabs.
