The full story
After buying a Raspberry Pi Pico 2 W, the maker struggled to turn an AI's pin tables into real wiring. BreadPilot replaces those tables with a navigable 3D breadboard view and step-by-step jumper-wire instructions. Claude Code was used to build the app.
An agent plans components and stages and writes the microcontroller code, with Ollama and OpenAI API support. The maker reports more than 20 simple projects involving buttons, OLED displays and LEDs. Complex circuits have not been tested, and the app's claimed wiring checks are not evidence of independent electrical-safety validation.
