Brick by Brick, a physics stacking game with a $1 leaderboard
A web stacking game with a custom HTML5 canvas physics engine, built with Claude Code, where posting a high score costs $1.
The full story
Brick by Brick is a stacking game where you drop blocks to build the tallest tower, with cut-off pieces falling under physics and blocks speeding up as you climb. The maker built it with Claude Code on Next.js with a custom HTML5 canvas engine, and Claude helped with the physics and collisions, Stripe payments, an auth migration and production bugs.
Posting a score to the leaderboard costs $1, which had brought in seven payments, mostly from family and friends. Some CSS fixes and balancing still had to be done by hand.
