The full story
Bugdom, Pangea Software's 1999 game that came with the original iMac, was the author's first video game: a roly-poly named Rollie McFly rescuing ladybugs from fire ants and bees. Building on the existing modern port, they spent about 20 hours with Claude Code getting it running entirely in the browser. They then added half a dozen mods their seven-year-old self would have loved, such as low gravity.
