The full story
The poster uses Claude Code to run experiments on Mino, a hackable robot whose software is built on ROS 2. They say Claude can write ROS 2 nodes and use ROS tools to configure the robot, gather data and display it clearly.
When VS Code dictation did not work with a remote target like the robot, the poster had Claude Code use the robot's built-in speech-to-text capability, which runs on its Jetson Orin Nano, so they could speak instructions to the agent.
