Claude controlling a real SO-101 robot arm
Claude Code built the camera and robot connector and agent loop that let Opus attempt tasks like lining up blocks.
The full story
The poster used Claude Code to build a tool letting Claude control a real SO-101 robot arm. Claude Code built the robot and camera connector and the agent loop that sends observations to the model, executes its tool calls and gets the next observation.
The video shows Opus 5.5 trying to "line up the yellow blocks", which the poster admits did not go well. The tool includes a local MuJoCo simulation, a movement-limit connector, and reusable saved motions. The poster says simulator setup was where Claude struggled most.
