The full story
After buying a Noctua cooler and four case fans, the maker wanted to find the most pleasant sound curves for each fan and for the group. A microphone was placed near their head and Claude Code spun each fan header up and down, recording against the noise floor, and mapped the tones against what people tend to find more pleasing.
Claude controlled the fans, wrote the script that listened over the mic and saved the config to FanControl.exe by itself. The maker reports the result is "Pretty quiet".
