The full story
Continuum was a smooth-scrolling arcade game on the original 128 KB Macintosh in 1984, a technical marvel for its time. The author ported its 68k assembly to JavaScript with heavy help from Claude Code and some Gemini CLI. They found Claude better at porting the assembly and Gemini better at finding bugs, and say they couldn't have done it without AI. The whole game state, including physics, lives in Redux. It's playable at continuumjs.com.
