The full story
The poster wanted their smartwatch to wear the same dial as their mechanical watch, so built a pipeline on headless Claude Code. A scout agent picks and measures the best dial photo, a builder draws the dial as a parametric SVG generator, and two critics review each round until scores pass. The best round is packaged as a Watch Face Format app and installed over Wi-Fi.
An early problem was builds painting the photo's hands into the dial, which the critics missed; rounds now also render the dial with no hands. It costs about 15 to 30 million tokens per face and is Wear OS only. It is MIT-licensed on GitHub.
