The full story
Vaclav Chaloupka used Claude Code to design and program two Elecrow ESP32 displays for Home Assistant: a 7-inch panel for the hallway and a tiny 1.28-inch rotary display for the garage. He wrote no code himself; separate agents handled planning, interface design, architecture and coding, with custom skills for ESPHome and LVGL.
The big panel took a few rounds; the rotary display compiled first time. He has shared the skills and agents so others can repeat it.
