The full story
FamQuest is a self-hosted family wall display built with Claude Code. Its key feature is for a 4-year-old who can't read yet: she taps icons to complete her morning routine, earns points and picks rewards. It also shows the family week from Google Calendar, the weather, meal plan and shopping list, and has a photo-frame and night mode. It runs on Docker and PostgreSQL with no cloud, in English and German, under AGPL-3.0. It's separate from Home Assistant.
