The full story
While building a proof of concept, the author kept hitting Claude's usage limit 30 to 60 minutes into each five-hour session, because the growing codebase context ate tokens fast. So they designed GlyphLang, a language meant to be generated by AI rather than written by people. It swaps verbose keywords for symbols that tokenise more efficiently, for example @ for a route, $ for a variable and > for return. The Hacker News post got 44 points.
