The poster has been disabled all their life and has very limited range of motion, and found the default Windows on-screen keyboard lacking. Many better accessibility tools cost money or solved only one problem.
They are not a professional programmer. Over many sessions they described what they needed and tested every build, while Claude wrote the Python (tkinter, standard library only) and fixed things they reported broken. KeyDeck Plus has dwell, swipe and switch-scanning typing, autocorrect, predictive text and layouts that can be saved and loaded.
