A Purism forum user gave Claude Code an isolated Linux computer and asked it to build a new operating system for their Librem 5 phone, based on Android. Their idea was an OS you could change by describing what you want in plain English, such as "stop asking for my age", then rebuilding it.
It's a thread of questions rather than results. Other members warned against flashing it: the poster had needed help unbricking the phone after an earlier Android attempt, and they asked whether the phone would still boot Linux afterwards. Another suggested reverse engineering the proprietary apps instead.
