The full story
GifPack is an unofficial open-source Android app for 64×64 LED backpacks and iPixel Color panels that use the iledcolor app. It finds, collects, converts and edits animated GIFs and sends them to the backpack over Bluetooth Low Energy. The repository also documents the backpack's Bluetooth protocol so others can build on it.
