Upgrading an old Pi across Debian releases
Claude Code upgraded an older Raspberry Pi's standard Debian install across several releases and fixed repository signing-key errors. This is an OS upgrade, not a custom OS.
The full story
This is the system side of the Raspberry Pi Kodi project. Claude Code took a Pi 3 Model B running an old Debian Buster image through Bullseye to Trixie, two major releases. That left the package manager missing a repository signing key, so it refused to install software, and Claude fixed it. It also repaired a swap-file service that failed at boot.
This is a standard operating-system upgrade done carefully rather than a custom OS, which is often the most useful thing you can do for an old Pi.
Same write-up as the Kodi entry.
