The full story
The integration keeps a local WebSocket connection to each Shelly Gen2-or-later device and combines pushed updates with refreshed status data. It publishes measurements such as power, energy, voltage and current to emonCMS on a configured interval.
The author credits Claude Code while explicitly describing human specification, editing, review and testing. The source also credits existing open-source Shelly integrations for parts of the approach.
