SOMA, a 3D viewer for enclosures written by AI agents
After Claude wrote an ESP32 enclosure as CadQuery code, the maker built an app where coding agents write 3D models and users mark up the view.

The full story
The maker needed an enclosure for an ESP32-S3 sensor station and asked Claude to make it. Claude wrote it as CadQuery code with cutouts for the display and connectors, which worked better than expected, but every change meant screenshotting, scribbling and pasting back into the chat.
A small viewer to fix that became SOMA: an agent such as Claude Code runs in a built-in terminal, the model appears in 3D straight away, and you can click, measure or draw on it and send that back. It now has dimension sliders, overhang checks, version history, FEM and STL export, and as a stress test the maker designed a 118-part CNC mill with it.
