The full story
The author found an open-source homebrew Nintendo 3DS app that connects to a remote machine over SSH and runs Claude Code there, and says it works great. The dual screens, analogue stick and buttons mapped to Ctrl and Alt make it smooth, and it even supports voice input. They also ported the Tailscale library to the 3DS so they can reach their computer and run Claude Code or Codex from anywhere.
