The full story
Finding the archive.org plugin bundled with Lyrion clunky, more a favourites browser than a search tool, the maker built a replacement with Claude Code. You type a search such as "pink floyd 1973", load it and press play on a deck styled after a Sony cassette.
Audio goes to a Lyrion player found on the network, any DLNA renderer or the Mac's speakers, and a mix-tape mode builds 90-minute playlists. It has been tested on a MacBook and an iMac and is MIT licensed.
