The full story
The maker is building something like a clone of Korg's Opsix synth in Python with SuperCollider, to explore how to build a modulation matrix. To learn from real patches, they had Claude Code reverse engineer op6program, the format the Opsix uses when saving patches.
Claude figured out the protobuf schema Korg uses and saved it to a file. From there it wrote Python scripts that decode a patch into its algorithm, signal flow and operator routing matrix, which the maker shows running on a shared Juno-style patch.
