The full story
The maker wanted head tracking for Euro Truck Simulator 2, but well-known solutions cost around 200 EUR and App Store options were paid. A first prototype using ARKit and UDP worked after two hours with ChatGPT, but head position and rotation were off in game because ChatGPT had hallucinated details of the OpenTrack protocol.
Trying Claude Code for the first time, the maker says it spotted the wrong implementation straight away. With the app about 80% done, Claude fixed a re-centring bug, built onboarding screens and helped get it through App Store review. TrackBridge is free, ad-supported and works offline.
