Trajectory: a synth oscillator driven by a point bouncing in a polygon
With Claude and Codex doing most of the hard work, the maker built a new oscillator algorithm for the web and a headless Raspberry Pi 4 instrument.

The full story
Trajectory is a synthesiser whose oscillator is a point bouncing inside a regular polygon, with the sound taken from its position; changing the shape and angles gives tones from stable to near-chaotic. There is a live web demo and a version that runs as an instrument on a headless Raspberry Pi 4.
The maker says Claude and Codex did most of the hard work, though the AI "needs a lot of pushing around" to get the first app of each type working. Plans for a Eurorack hardware version on a Daisy Seed are slower going, as their surface-mount soldering has so far produced "a lot of magic smoke".
